Tip of my Tongue
- Designers Sarah McAlpine
The brief asked for a design artifact to appeal to typographic designers, and to show the exploration of a chosen word typographically. I chose the word food.
I aimed to create a book that represented the connection between food and memory.
The spreads are split into two, one page to describe the food, and the other for the connected memory. The identical layouts illustrates the strong connection between them. Having one page upside down represents two people eating opposite one another. The accompanying photography complements the experiences described in each story.
The final piece is a hardback 150x150mm book printed on Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell.
